I knew since I was a little girl that I wanted to create my own stories. I grew up in a strict God-fearing home and it wasn't often that I associated with other children my age. I had my share of toys, but the one thing I loved most were books. I started reading romance and romantic suspense when I was twelve years old. It was around that time, my own ideas were born. 

 

Writing eventually became my way of escape. My imagination took me to places outside this world. I could be anything I wanted. Do anything I wanted. Go anywhere I wanted. When I decided that I wanted to get my work published, I made a decision that I wanted to change the way readers looked at urban fiction. The sky is the limit. The possibilities are endless so why not? 

 

While I love to include romance in my novels, I also like to mix it up with a bit of erotica, mystery/suspense, drama and crime fiction. So welcome to Authoress Imani's website. Grab a book, sit back, relax and enjoy.
